We have just spent a very enjoyable week at this excellent site in a very clean modern static caravan. The site is immaculate with the added bonus of an excellent dog exercising area which our dog Stanley made full use of. There are many excellent walks from the park especially the one to the donkey sanctuary.Mark and Sally take real pride in their site and we will be recomending it to our touring caravan friends.
Stayed with friends at this beautiful campsite in September.
Immaculate facilities and grounds with very helpful, friendly, warm welcoming hosts. With stunning sea views and with Sidmouth a short bus ride away ( the bus stops in the campsite!) it is a perfect base to explore the area. Enjoyed a peaceful, relaxing evening chatting around the wood burner nestled away in the trees. If you want to enjoy the very best of a traditional British camping experience then book a trip to Salcombe Regis….it has everything you would want.
This camping and caravan park was fabulous. Having found this site it is certainly a place that I shall be recommending to family and friends alike.
Whether you are camping or fancy the luxury of a caravan, like we did, it was perfect. For the children there is plenty of open space for bikes, scooters and kites. For Mum’s and Dad a caravan that was immaculately clean will all essential cooking utensils and lots of tranquillity. Power shower with lots of piping hotel water was great.Showers and washing up facilities immaculately clean. They even have a washing machine on site 🙂 There are fairly regular shuttle bus to the local town Sidmouth; an exciting outing for all ages and guess what it was also free! With a donkey sanctuary and the local town for pubs, fish and chips and shopping. We will be definitely returning in the new year.
We’ve just returned to London from this absolute gem of a place!! I have been to a fair few camping and caravan parks over the years but this one is now my favourite. The staff are wonderfully friendly and accommodating, the warm croissants – delicious, the facilities are fab and the cleanest shower block I’ve ever seen!! All set in the most peaceful and tranquil of surroundings and even a spectacular sea view! We shall most certainly be returning very soon.
Thank you Mark and Sally for a wonderful weekend at your lovel campsite. The lay out was spacious and welcoming and the facilities clean and well cared for. A lovely campsite that welcomes all . We look forward to visiting you again soon and enjoying your fresh croissants in the morning.
My friends and I have just spent a weekend at this welcoming, family run campsite. On arrival we were promptly shown to our more than generous pitches which were flat, well maintained and had sea views. We found the owners to be very friendly and helpful and the facilities excellent. We will definitely be returning to this campsite again and again.
We booked to stay at Salcombe Regis campsite in September for a weekend as a couple. What a lovely campsite! The pitches were spacious and the whole campsite was beautiful and marvellously well looked after. Loved the picnic tables at the pitches, made sitting and relaxing very easy. We had a view of the sea and decided to walk down to the beach, which turned out to be a beautiful walk to a lovely beach with no other people there. Lucky I took my swimsuit! The showers were strong and hot at the site and the staff friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the hopper bus that goes into Salcombe regularly, a free service that runs from the campsite. What a brilliant idea. Thank you Mark and Sally for running a topnotch site.
We spent a couple of nights at this immaculate campsite at the end of September. The facilities were first class with everything you need to make camping easy. Great showers, spotless toilets and immaculate grounds. A place we shall definitely be visiting again. Martyn and Julie Milford .
Our party ranged from 3 years old to late sixties, and we all had a wonderful time. Our caravans were spotless, well spaced and well equipped, even having a cafetiere. The large area of grass, together with a good playground kept our youngsters entertained, we could watch them, but not hear them, because of the careful positioning of the playground. The bus to Salcombe was a boon, as we avoided the cost and stress of parking. Our fitter members walked to the local beach and thought the countryside and rocky seascape spectacular. Staff on site were pleasant and helpful, we’ll definitely book again.
